Tatiana’s Insight into the Advertising Industry
- Studied: PR & Advertising
- Work: TracyLocke
- Internships: Media Planning & Fashion PR (Internships are the key!)
- Took 5 in total
- Took 3 months off after college- Interned for Brooklyn PR
- Started as Project Manager: Entry level position- Communicates with the creative team and studio team. She worked on multiple jobs at the same time.
- Interview Process: Phone interview for 3-4 HOURS.
- Spoke to 5 teams
- Asked about strengths & what she can improve on
- Advice: Be personable. They want to get to know you!
- A Typical Day: Works from 9:00-6:00 (Most often you can come in as you please and work until your tasks get done/ your total shift)
- Works with clients, creatives production, etc.
- Perks: Happy hour once a month, massage Tuesday, Bagel Wednesday, Friendly co-workers, great office culture, creative individuals.
- Advice: Make connections with your professors and use the Alumni portal!
