ABS PROMOTIONAL STRATEGY - GROUP 5
Knowing Your Audience:
We have divided our campaign into reaching the schools and the students because we realize that it is a team effort to stop bullying. The Anti-Bully Squad reaches a large age variation of children. In order to target the children in a more direct way, we divided them into three age groups for this campaign:
    • Younger kids (pre-k - 4th grade)
      • Bring awareness of superhero, Courage
      • How to spot a bully and stop it
    • Youth (5th - 8th)
      • Bullying kicks up in middle school
      • So technology use - target them through social media
    • High school (9th-12th)
      • Aware of knowledge of the outside world
      • Target real-life situations and future consequences
    Social Media Reform:
      • Make all social media handles and logos consistent
      • Social media is an amazing way to self-promote since it’s FREE and reaches the masses
      • Twitter is used to reach more middle school and high school students since it is very direct
      • Facebook is more targeted to parents than students and keeps all events updated on the platform
      • Create a YouTube channel for Courage in order to target younger children
      • Reach out to YouTube stars for partnerships since it is a huge platform that all kids

        • Bonus: pay a little extra to have a celebrity talk (Brandon McManus, etc.)
        Website Reform:
          • Create a page to display the top 10 schools with the most Squad members
          • Add a forum page for parents
          • Create a FAQ page
          • List a resources page for additional help such as suicide hotlines, etc.
          App Reform:
          • Include features other than reporting (positive encouragement for those stepping in and speaking out)
          • Give each student an anonymous code in order to keep their identity private unless the incident proves to be made up or false
          • The app is divided into three steps: Take The Oath (sign up!). Join The Squad (get your code!). Make The Change (report!).
