This event will feature Tatiana Miranda an assistant account executive at Tracy Locke. This is a great opportunity to hear more about a Media Company that has worked with many famous brands such as Pizza Hut, Pepsi, T-Mobile, and more!

Guest Speaker Notes: Tatiana Miranda on Pepsi Food Service at TracyLocke- Graduated in 2016
- Com major (PR and Advertising. Global Studies minor)
- From LA
- Did as many internships as she could
- Had jobs in LA and London
- Interned for “Brooklyn PR” then it turned into a job
- TracyLocke is based in CT (job is for Project Management)
- Assistant account executive promotion
- Makes sure jobs from clients are being managed smoothly
- “In a nutshell, my job is managing relationships”
- Interview questions:
- Strengths and weaknesses
- Was rigorous and involved many people
- If it wasn’t for living in LA, the interview would probably total between 4-5 hours
A day in the life- TATIANA:
- Don’t have to be into work until 9/9:30 (typical day is 9-6 M-F)
- Happy hours at least once a month
- Not super professional attire
- As long as she is in before the “creatives” it is okay
- Had 4 internships in total
- HANNAH:
- 1.5-hour commute
- Coworkers invite her to stuff all the time
- Working with another coworker/intern for the Pepsi Food Service Campaign
- Presented practice project to Taco Bell
- Presented to Quinnipiac on Pepsi
Office Environment- TATIANA:
- Not laid back but not uptight
- Fun environment (massage Tuesdays, bagel Wednesdays, Halloween theme)
- Close in age, early 20s to early 30s. Coworkers become friends and hang out outside of work
- HANNAH:
- Enjoyed it
- People riding around on razor scooters
- People are very blunt and upfront about things
- Bagel Wednesdays was her favorite day
- There were 12 interns total
Anything you would’ve done differently at Marist?- TATIANA:
- Extremely involved
- Asked professors more questions and picked their brains a little bit more
- Study abroad if you can
- HANNAH:
- Wouldn’t really change the path she took
- Make it a little easier for herself (as in the Focus program)
- Plan a little better
- Do stuff even if your friends aren’t doing it
- Wish she could do more and is sad she is graduating
